About Us

Welcome to Maryland Squash, a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) dedicated to supporting both junior and adult amateur squash racquets players, ranging from beginners to experienced athletes. Established in 1907—just one year after the formation of the United States Squash Racquets Association—Maryland Squash is proud to be one of the first four regional squash associations founded before 1920. For over a century, we have actively promoted the sport of squash, encompassing both singles and doubles, within our community.

Currently, Maryland Squash connects over 400 players through a variety of tournaments, exhibitions, and educational programs. We facilitate access to more than 45 international singles courts and nearly 10 doubles courts throughout Maryland. Our organization serves a wide-ranging community, from Annapolis to Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Columbia. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our venues, programs, and tournament activities.

In keeping with our long-standing tradition, the Baltimore area has established itself as a significant center for both international (softball) squash and North American hardball doubles. We have hosted over 30 U.S. Squash national softball championships and 12 U.S. Squash national doubles championships, alongside numerous local, state, and collegiate tournaments. We welcome you to join us in celebrating and advancing the sport of squash in Maryland.
